Sure Set Salmon Leaders™
Sure Set Salmon Leaders™ are so deadly they should be illegal and are the key ingredient in the Captain's custom-tied hoochies. Each and every leader is tied and inspected by the Captain himself. Follow the Captain's guidance on hook placement and keep razor sharp hooks; your hook-up ratio will skyrocket upwards to approximately 90-percent. You're reading it correctly- approximately 9 out of 10 fish will be solidly hooked! All you need to do is bring the fish to the boat and net it.
These leaders are not limited to hoochies. They are equally effective on Ace Hi flies, herring helmets, Apex style baits/lures, Grand Slam Bucktails (and other flies), or lures like the Baitbuster.
Leaders are available in 3/0 through 6/0 tied on Maxima Ultragreen. You may also consider trying my Sure Set leaders tied on Cajun Red. This stuff is incredibly stiff and super tough. It can really make a hoochie dance! Unfortunately this is only available in 50# and limited to 5/0 and 6/0 hooks.
A combination of red/black hook colors are also available These have been dynamite sellers recently.
Each leader is a minimum of 65-inches.
