The overwhelmingly popular Silver Slayer Series has returned to
Captain Downriggin's! In 2005 the Captain unveiled a
longtime secret to catching Silver (Coho) salmon - a mini hoochie and Spin N' Glo combination - that put a lot of fish
in the boat for many "first-timers." This style of
rigging places a tremendous amount of vibration in the water behind a flasher or
dodger that Coho just cannot refuse. They will keep on producing
long after the bite has finished. Don't be surprised if other hungry
species of salmon comes along and takes a "last" bite! Simply
make your leader length 27-30 inches behind an 11-inch flasher, troll faster
than normal, and hold on- strikes are absolutely vicious! Becoming
extremely popular for everything that swims in our waters!
