Welcome Captain Downriggin's newest store front- Point Defiance Boathouse! The guys at "The Point" have a great selection of the Captain's hoochies for you to choose from.

Unfortunately I am going to have to disable the links for a little bit as I catch up orders. This will be in the best interest of both parties. I have too many orders to fill and it is becoming harder and harder to catch up on a daily basis as many new orders are coming in faster than I can ship. Please visit the "Retailers" link below to see where you can purchase the Captain hoochies. Many of these retailers are more than willing to ship directly to you if you live out of state or out of the immediate area. Above all, if your favorite tackle store doesn't sell the Captain's hoochies, request they do!

I am planning the phase out of internet sales with a target date of 01 August.. Trying to keep up with the broad demand of customers and retailers is extremely painstaking. I am further limiting customized tying to special orders through retailers. As of 16 June 2008, I will only offer 5/0 black Gamakatsu hooks on hoochies with the exception of 4/0 black on the Silver Slayer Series on this website as the myriad of options with hooks sizes and colors has hampered customer delivery/shipping times. This will streamline the process 100-fold! Hundreds are pre-tied in this fashion and will expedite shipping and customer service.

Lastly, I thank you for your business! We couldn't have reached this level of success without you. For those customers that do not know who "we" are... there are only two of us (Kaitlyn and myself) presently doing this. A huge thank you goes out to my girlfriend Kaitlyn for her untiring support. She comes home from working full-time and then helps out for another 5 or 6-hours with packaging and labeling... Please have patience as we work through yet another growing pain... and please call us before you email with questions. Trying to answer the amount of email we receive daily slows us down a lot...

I manufacture my awesome product right on the shores of Gig Harbor in the home.

We continue to work extremely hard for you and will not stop until we are completely caught up. We are currently working a minimum of 18-hours a day, 7-days a week to get product completed to the best of our ability.
