I'll be giving a 1-hour presentation at the Renton Chapter of PSA meeting 10 December 2008.  If you are not a member of Puget Sound Anglers (PSA), this is a great time to check it out.  For more information, please visit:  www.RentonPSA.com

The Products page has been updated with the Blackmouth Bites.  I hope to have the Products Page completed shortly.

I lost quite a few of the testimonial pictures/comments and ask that you please send your pictures in again.  I am also looking for new testimonials to update our pages.  You don't really want to see our mugs all over the site do you?

Recently added was Deadly Hoochie Rigging Secrets and a Tramp Harbor article!  Additionally, the newest style of hoochies to hit the streets- the Blackmouth Bites series and the Mini Captain Downriggin's Special (both below).

Want to expand your hoochie arsenal?  Please read my Deadly Rigging Secrets...

Welcome the newest additions to Captain Downriggin's- (top to bottom)  Mini Captain Downriggin's Special (3 1/2-inches), Nuclear Plankton, Frozen Milk, Sour Taffy, Baby Herring, and Blue Light Special (2 7/8-inches).   All are tied on Matzuo 5/0 and 50# Maxima Ultra Green.  These are definitely another set of winners for blackmouth!   An unique combination of ultra violet and triple glow mini B2 Squid!   The Blackmouth Bites are made with a mini B2 Squid (made exclusively for Captain Downriggin's) and measures 2 3/8-inches which is topped with a Gold Star 2 1/2-inch UV skirt.  The Mini Captain Downriggin' Special adds a size 6 Spin N Glo to a plain B2 Squid...  Nearly one year later we finished test fishing yesterday morning (11/9), and in last three trips we've logged a little over 4 hours total ramp to ramp time off Green Point...  just Kaitlyn and me- 6-fish!  Pro Staffer Mike Callier and his dad nailed two fish on the Captain Downriggin Special on their trip as well as Zack and his dad reporting 3-fish days or limits in October-  all fish were caught at Green Point.  The fishing has been amazing for 5 to 8-poind blackies down south.  Most anglers are heading to the rivers and creeks missing the great action...  I have already loaded the pegs at the Federal Way Sportsman's Warehouse for those anglers wanting a killer blackmouth hoochie or two.  As usual, they go fast so give the guys at the fishing counter a call if you want a few shipped to you.  Call (253) 835-4100 to order.

(*"Glowing" Blackmouth Bite (Baby Herring).  Note the splatterback silhouette- simply amazing! )

I should have the "products page, completed by the end of the week.

If you haven't heard, the Monroe Sportsman's Show is cancelled.  I believe there are some scheduling difficulties and will not be held this year.

Seminar season is here and the first few have already gone by!

Come see us

Kaitlyn and I are gearing up for the Seattle Boat Show.  We invite you to visit us and the Pro Staff in the LFS booth in Seattle.  This would be a good time stop by and say, "Hello" and, to ask us any questions you may have and about our product or fishing.  We are currently working on attending the Puyallup show and hopefully will have an answer here shortly.

Alana's huge 17-pound Sekiu Coho taken on the UV Herring 175-feet down!

What's the Captain cooking up?  It won't be food!  Stay tuned for one of the best tricks ever!

December winter blackmouth from Green Point.  My article tells you exactly how, when and where to fish!

A beautiful 12-pound Gibson Point winter blackmouth trying to spit two deeply lodged hooks on a Captain Downriggin's Special.  Want to learn the secrets of fishing a hoochie?  Stay tuned...

If you haven't heard the news or seen them in the stores, we have changed over to Matzuo Sickle Hooks.  These hooks are incredible sharp and the barbs do not break off when pinched to meet barbless regulations.  The unique bend in these hooks- hook and hold the fish!  It seems that the harder the fish pulls against the hook, the deeper the hook(s) penetrate.  In fact, the Pro Staff fished these hooks for two years without a single lost fish!

This fish missed the mouth all together!  Note the new Matzuo Sickle Hooks- both hooks are imbedded behind the UV Bomb.
