Blackmouth Bites™ Series


 A huge thank you goes to B2 Squid for making these Mini B's exclusively for Captain Downriggin's! 

The Mini B2's measure 2 1/2-inches and coupled with a mini skirt from Silver Horde the total length is 2 7/8-inches.  If you desire a slightly longer hoochie length simply add an additional bead or two ahead of the Mini B2.  Tied on over-sized 5/0 Matzuo Sickle Hooks and 50# Maxima Ultra Green leader material.  I can sincerely say the Blackmouth Bites are outfishing the rods with the spoons!  We are out test fishing additional colors.  If they work well, you'll see them here and on the shelves!
Mini Captain Downriggin' Special™

The "Mini CDR" is a scale down version of the original Captain Downriggin' Special.  Measuring 3 1/2-inches this little hoochie fits the missing size silhouettes between the 4 1/4-inch standard hoochie and the 2 7/8 Blackmouth Bites series.   This hoochies has been cranking out blackies like crazy this fall (2008)!
